Being family-owned and operated since 1939, Parmentier Auto Body Inc in Washington, MO, has always been committed to delivering outstanding results for our customers. In 1939, George H. Parmentier took a giant step and began the auto body shop at the corner of 4th & Oak Streets in Washington. Through WWII, years when parts were very hard to get, sheet metal repair was a skill to be learned. A few years after the war, George’s son Herb began his career in the body shop. Herb’s father taught him the skills to be an auto body technician.
Today, we operate from our modern facility on WW Industrial Park Drive off Hwy 100 West in Washington, Missouri—conveniently located near Zephyr Express. We continuously invest in state-of-the-art equipment and advanced repair techniques to give every customer a professional experience that sets us apart in Franklin County. Our team performs complete auto body repairs on all makes and models, whether you drive a compact car, a full-size truck, or a specialty vehicle.

Herb remained a vital part of his business for more than 50 years. Herb’s younger brother Clarence has continued the tradition of doing quality repairs and now Theresa, the current owner, has taken the reins. Theresa strives to continue the legacy, moving forward and providing quality work to individuals throughout the area. Theresa has been working in the business since the 1990s and aims to continue delivering exceptional collision services. The family business operates successfully at our modern facility off of Hwy 100 West in Washington, Missouri. We perform complete auto body repairs and work with all makes and models. We work with all insurance companies and can help you with your insurance claim. We’ll be glad to send the insurance company the estimate and photos. Just bring in your claim information and we’ll handle the rest.
